Egg Wash

Another day, another recipe. As I have said before, I have other things to get long winded about, and egg wash isn’t one of them, even if the gods behind the Internet say it’s needed to get found.

If you want a shiny golden brown crust on your bread or pastries, you need to brush the wash onto your dough right before it goes into the oven.

Crack an egg into a bowl.

Add the water OR milk.
